Today I had the pleasure of meeting George Hunts's wife Marva and their Granddaughter Dallas.

George wanted to capture the relationship between Dallas and her Grandmother as a gift to Dallas. Here is one of my favorite photos from the session.

TIGGER Noah

Halloween '08

Today I photographed my brother Brian and his new little girl Piper. Piper is 2 week old. This is one of my favorites.

Family Photo

Becky and I took a new family photo on Thursday. We set the lights, put the remote trigger on the camera and fired away. We were so pleased to see the happy little man in the photos when we were finished. Our living room now has what all family rooms should have a 30x50 Family Portrait.

I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin Julie's wedding in Nashville. I had a great time hanging with her all day it took me back to when we were kids. One of my favorite shots was one of her and Charlie her dog. Congratulations Julie & John "Live well, Love much & Laugh often"

Fulmer AD

For the first time Becky and I did a creative project together where we did it all. Creative director, photographer, photo retoucher, graphic designer and yes even models. Thanks Fulmer Helmets! Mortal Coil in stores now! These AD will be seen in 5 different US Magazines.

Noah is 3 weeks old

Noah is only 3 weeks old and he has changed so much. Becky and I were looking at the 2nd week photo session and comparing it to this one yesterday. I just can't believe how much he has changed. Here is our favorite from the session.

Crissy & Jonathon

Crissy is one of my oldest friends. We twirled baton together at competitions during high school & as Tigerettes at the U of M. I am so happy that she has found such a great guy to marry!!! They are truely in love & it's always great to see other couples who really love each other. We had a blast during their engagement session- they kept us laughing the whole time:)

Now...if only I could get them to move back to Memphis so that we can hang out more.......

Noah Day 4

Noah's First Day

Noah is here and he is more magical than we could have even imagined. He was born on June 30 and weighed 6 lbs 13 oz & was 19 3/4 in. He is perfect in every way. We have always enjoyed taking photo of babies and now we can fill all the walls and open shelves in our house with our new infatuation..... Baby Noah.

Amber's senior session

Seniors are so much fun to photograph!!! Amber is a senior '08 and she is a really sweet girl! Seniors are interesting because they are at a milestone in their lives. They are getting ready to graduate high school & deciding what to do with the rest of their lives- go to college, trade school, find a job, move out- there are so many big decisions to make during this time.

When I was a senior, I was determined to leave Memphis & I really wanted to go to Ole Miss. However, I decided to stay here because of the scholarship money that I received to the U of M. It truely was the best decision that I have ever made- because I might not have meet my wonderful husband if I'd left Memphis. It's great to think back to the days when I made so many decisions that have really impacted where I'm at today. That's why I love to talk to seniors and hear the plans for their lives- you never really know where life is going to take you- but it's fun trying to figure it all out:)

John, Becky & baby Noah

Today, John, Noah and I took our first family portrait. I think that it turned out great! My belly is getting really big and I absolutely love it!!!! Noah is kicking a lot now- he even kicked John in the head one day.....HA HA. I can't wait for him to get here and I have really been working hard on his nursery to get it ready for him.

JOHN ACTUALLY CLEANED

I can't believe it.... John actually spent a good part of the day cleaning the studio!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of him. Tonight is Trolley Tour and we wanted to get the studio looking great. I've really been nesting lately to and I think it is rubbing off on John. Hurray!!!

And.... I'm actually blogging two days in a row. It's like the Twilight Zone around here. HA HA

We also had a session with a great family from out of town. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and I have posted one of my favorite portraits from their session!

Cas' session

Well, so far I've been really bad about keeping up with my blogging:( I'm trying to blog more though- it's really fun when I do it.



Today, we took portraits of one of our favorite blue eyed boys- Cas. He and his parents Damon & Pam live accross the street from our studio. We have been taking pictures on Cas since he was still in is mom's belly. He is such a sweet and happy little boy! And.... it's always great to see Pam!

My first blog

We are so excited that Easter is almost here. We have a lot to celebrate, since finding out that we are having a sweet little boy! I am 20 weeks along and we are naming our miracle Noah David. I am due in the heat of the summer on July 29, but at least I can wear comfy clothes & flip flops when I get really big!

We took Noah's first Easter picture today & we will take pleanty more pictures when he comes into the world!

During one of our photo sessions today with Suzanne, her two boys John & Brandon and their dog Zoe, I watched the boys playing with each other and remember thinking how lucky we are to be having a rough little boy!

Thank heaven for little boys:)
